I want to be a positive example of a mother, a friend, a leader (in that order). I want to empower and inspire the people in my life and those who I reach, to be their best selves. I want to experience ultimate joy, selflessness, wealth, success and security for both myself and my daughter through my actions (after all that is all I can control). I want to enjoy the benefit of spiritual peace and abundance.

Very deep. I hadn't heard about that one and will definitely have to check it out. I'm reading an older book called Life Makeovers by Cheryl Richardson. This is pretty cool because it gives me an assignment to do each week and allows me to discover new things about myself that I either forgot or just didn't see until it becomes obvious. I will have to check out some of those other books.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI am wading through "Life Makeovers" and "The Happiness Project" along with "The Restless Heart: Finding Our Spiritual Home in Times of Loneliness." I know there are things going on that are out of your control, but it looks to me like you are well on your way to achieving your goals. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam. I'm on my way! Smooches - Lindy
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your daily reading list. It seems that going through divorce made you a lot stronger and gave you more perspective about life. I admire the fact that you are doing what you can to meet your daughter’s needs and set a good example to her. Also, you’re showing a good example that you can’t let life cripple your resolve no matter what.
ReplyDeletePeople who find it hard to get through a divorce should believe that a better life can be found afterwards. You just need to have that positive outlook in life and believe that everything will go back to normal again. Time heals pain. And with all the self-help and inspiring books that you have there, I'm sure that you've become a more amazing person than ever. Thanks for sharing your daily reading list. Here's to moving forward!
